The breed is created as a result of introduction of the semidominant Don Sphynx mutation to the genotype of oriental breed.
Appearance
The ideal cat is hairless, svelte, elegant, with long tapering lines, supple and well muscled

Medium size, in proportion to the body, well balanced;
wedge shaped with straight lines.
The wedge starts at the nose and gradually increases in width in straight lines on each side to the ears. There should be no whisker break in these two lines.

Residual flock furnishing, no more than 2 mm length, on the whole of the body may occur, as well as short sparse coat on the muzzle, ears and legs. Single hairs may also occur on the tail.
Complete hairlessness is preferred.
Colour
All colour varieties and patterns are permitted, including those with white and points varieties.
Any amount of white is permitted
In completely hairless cats it is impossible to define a specific tabby pattern.
Remarks
Coat
The x variety "brush" has fine wavy, often wiry fur on the whole body, with bald areas on the head, upper part of neck or on the back.
These cats can be used for breeding, participate in shows, but cannot obtain certificates. Outcross with other breeds: BAL/OLH/OSH/SIA/SYL/SYS,
only for the breeding of Peterbalds
Registration
Only naked cats will be registered as PEB – Peterbald. However, following the registration, kittens from such outcrosses are first registered as XSH and can then be presented in Control Class and possibly be re-registered as PEB.
All others will remain registered as XSH and can only be used for the breeding of PEB after permission from the national FIFe Member. Breeding these XSH with BAL/OSH/OLH/SYL/SYS/SIA is strictly forbidden.
